As a Co-Founder of Lower Hunter Medical, we strive to provide services to our community that are not readily accessible or available in the local area.
I am keen to create new ways of delivering excellence, break down barriers in communication and efficiency, and work collaboratively.
Lower Huner Medical has been designed to expand to reach patients in need and to offer expertise second to none.
My aspiration is to complete my pilot license in 2023/2024 and be able to deliver outreach services to remote, indigenous, and rural communities.
Kimberley is a Registered Nurse who has a diverse nursing career having worked across public and private sectors in most fields of nursing since the early 1990s in Australia, the UK, and South-East Asia.
She specialised in critical and intensive care nursing and is passionate about education, being a former Lecturer at the University of Newcastle in the Schools of Medicine and Nursing for over 17 years and worked as a TAFE Teacher, in Nursing, Allied Health, and refugee students.
Kimberley is our CEO having completed her MBA in 2020 and Practice Nurse, working alongside Dr Sergio Diez Alvarez since June 2019 and is committed to facilitating coordinated care across the region for all patients.
